The quote came to me unexpectedly one day. I didn't sit down to think about it or try to write something profound. It simply arrived, and ever since then, it has quietly followed me through my days.

Some days it feels natural. Other days it stirs every rebellious part of me because living it asks something difficult of me. Yet somehow, it continues to tug gently at my heart, inviting me to become a little more of the person I hope to be.

That, perhaps, is the best way to describe my own healing journey.

I don't see myself as someone who has "arrived." I am simply someone who continues to learn, question, stumble, heal, and grow. Every workshop I teach, every consultation I hold, and every conversation I have is also an invitation for me to practise what I believe.

Before becoming a full-time holistic practitioner and teacher, I spent fifteen years in the public sector, eventually serving as an Assistant Director. My academic background is in Computer Science, Information Studies, and Project Management. It may seem like an unusual beginning for someone in holistic healing, but those years shaped how I approach my work today—with curiosity, structure, discernment, and a deep respect for both science and human experience.

Yet despite having a stable career, there was always a quiet knowing that something in my life was still missing. I explored different paths, started businesses across various industries, and searched for work that felt deeply meaningful. Looking back now, I realize every experience was preparing me for what would eventually become my life's calling.

The Vision Came Before the Journey Was Complete

When I established my company in 2015, I registered it as Simply Heal.

Even then, I knew my calling was never about offering just one healing modality. My vision was to create a space where different healing paths could come together to support the whole person—emotionally, mentally, physically, energetically, relationally, and spiritually.

The vision was clear.

The journey, however, was only just beginning.

Simply Heal quietly remained the registered company behind everything I did and the name displayed on my studio door, patiently waiting for the day when the vision would fully unfold.

A Journey of Healing Before Teaching

I have never sought out healing modalities simply to collect certifications.

Every healing modality entered my life because I needed it before I could ever imagine teaching it.

Bach Flower Remedies was the first modality that profoundly transformed my life. It helped me through my own emotional healing, gave me clarity about my life purpose, and ultimately gave me the courage to leave a secure career in pursuit of work that truly resonated with my heart. What began as personal healing naturally evolved into SimplyBach, where I started helping others understand their emotions, navigate life's challenges, and discover their own direction and purpose.

As my own healing journey continued, Reiki entered my life, not only as a gentle yet profound healing practice, but also as a way of reconnecting with stillness, presence, and the body's innate wisdom. As my appreciation for Reiki deepened, Simply Reiki became a space to share Reiki in its pure and simple form.

My love for animals eventually led me to study Animal Communication under Teacher Rosina Maria Arquati in Hong Kong. Initially, my intention was simply to understand animals more deeply so that I could better support their emotional wellbeing through Bach Flower Remedies.

Then life brought me one of my greatest teachers.

My beloved soulmate bunny, Puto, passed away unexpectedly in my arms.

During my grief, Puto continued communicating with me in spirit. Those precious experiences profoundly deepened my animal communication abilities and transformed my relationship with the animal kingdom. Before moving on, Puto left me with words that have remained close to my heart ever since:

"It is the heart to help the animals that counts."

Those words eventually gave birth to Simply Animal Voice, dedicated to helping people understand, communicate with, and care more deeply for the animals who share their lives.

My search for self-healing later led me to Jin Shin Jyutsu. I remember sitting through my very first class in awe of how something so gentle and seemingly simple could hold such profound wisdom. It became another path that supported me physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, eventually leading me to become an authorised Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help Instructor and practitioner. This journey became Simply JSJ.

As my own journey continued to unfold, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT®) expanded my appreciation of the subconscious mind, while expressive and intuitive art healing opened another doorway into healing beyond words. These naturally found their home through Soulful Institute.

Looking back, every modality entered my life at exactly the right time.

Each one taught me something different.

Each one healed a different part of me.

Only after they had transformed my own life did I feel called to share them professionally with others.

Different Healing Paths. One Journey.

As each modality grew, it naturally developed its own identity.

SimplyBach.

Simply Reiki.

Simply Animal Voice.

Simply JSJ.

Soulful Institute.

Each served different communities and different needs. At that stage of my journey, it felt right for each to grow in its own space.

Yet over the years, something quietly revealed itself.

Although the modalities looked different on the surface, I found myself teaching the very same truths, again and again.

To understand ourselves more deeply.

To take responsibility for our emotional landscape.

To heal unresolved patterns.

To reconnect with our own inner wisdom.

Whether I was working with Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Animal Communication, QHHT®, or Art Healing, the destination was always the same.

It was then that I realised the vision I had carried since 2015 had been quietly unfolding all along.

The separate brands were never separate journeys.

They were simply different doorways leading people towards the same destination.

The time had finally come to bring them home.

Coming Home to Ourselves

Today, Simply Heal is no longer simply the registered company behind my work or the name displayed on my studio door.

It has become what it was always meant to be.

A home where all the healing paths I have walked, learnt, practiced, and taught come together under one roof.

Here, people can explore emotional healing through Bach Flower Remedies, experience Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu, journey into the subconscious through QHHT®, deepen their connection with animals through Animal Communication, express themselves through Art Healing, and discover that while every healing path looks different, they are all gently guiding us back to ourselves.

To me, healing has never been about fixing ourselves.

It is about understanding ourselves deeply.

When we understand ourselves, we naturally become kinder, wiser, and more compassionate, not only towards ourselves, but also towards the people and animals who share our lives.

Today, I no longer see myself as someone who teaches healing modalities.

I simply walk alongside people as they discover themselves.

Because I don't believe healing is about becoming a perfect version of ourselves.

I believe it is about becoming a more honest one.

Perhaps that is why that unexpected quote continues to stay with me.

It reminds me that healing is not something we accomplish once and for all.

It is a practice.

A choice.

A way of living.

One moment at a time.

If our paths cross, my hope is not that you leave believing more in me.

My hope is that you leave believing more in yourself.
